Korean Drama Marathon

Two months ago, I started watching Korean dramas. I wasn't in the mood to study so I ended up having a drama marathon. I guess it's one of the reasons why it took me a while posting in my blog. I was simply  addicted distracted with the shows. HEHE!

I wanted to watch Full House... again. It's one of my favorites but it's not as exciting as when I first watched it a few years back.  During its thirteenth episode, I decided to pick a different drama to watch because I already knew what will happen. Then I thought of a part 2 of Full House. I heard rumors about Full House 2 but that was a long time ago. I still checked and surprisingly, it was just released. Compared to part 1, Full House 2's story line is very different from the former. It's not a continuation of the first part. Not that I care. As long as the story's good, I'll go watch it. I ended up watching another different drama because other episodes weren't released yet during that time. Now it's completed but I'm still not done watching it. Got my finals you know.

I have a friend who suggested a Korean drama while chatting and waiting for our next class last term. She suggested Sungkyunkwan Scandal. And... I thank her for suggesting it. HAHA! It's like a combination of all the genre I want in a drama. I am definitely a fan of historical dramas.

The actors story is cute. I've encountered many gender bender stories similar to the drama and I'm really tired of it. I'll make an exception for this one because the actress disguising herself as a boy is pretty. ♥ HAHA! For the record, I'm straight. (Defensive~) HAHA! Sungkyunkwan Scandal has been out a few years ago but I just watched it a month ago. I often do this because I hate incomplete dramas. I can be very impatient sometimes. 

After Sungkyunkwan Scandal, I watched The Moon that Embraces the Sun. In this drama, I finally found my favorite Asian actor... Kim Soo Hyun!!! I knew while watching him act that he won many awards already, and I was right. There's also the bromance part which won an award from that drama... I think? It's funny actually. HAHA! Made a different post before HERE.

After seeing Kim Soo Hyun's acting skills, I immediately searched for other dramas he took part in. Next drama... Dream High. It's a bit late for me to watch this though (as well as Sungkyunkwan Scandal).

I have friends who are KPOP fans and I think they know or familiar with some/all of the idols in it like Taecyeon of 2PM, Suzy of Miss A, IU, Wooyoung, and Eunjung. I like the happy birthday song sang by Suzy of Miss A in that drama. It's Winter Child.

There's also their own cover of SNSD's Genie. Kim Soo Hyun's so flexible. ♥ HAHA!

The ending part of the drama is a bit of a cliffhanger. But since Sam Dong (Kim Soo Hyun) kissed Go Hyemi (Suzy)  in the end, I'm cool with how they left it. Yes... I was rooting for Sam Dong from the very beginning. :P
